Tammbrey

“Like many great photographers, I prefer to make my own path, than follow someone else’s. I let providence be my guide and escort me on my artistic road. I don’t map a destination but rather allow intuition to blaze my trail in each quest. I am a Photographic Artist.”

She is unconventional, interesting and unusual. She thinks outside the box and this shows in her photos and other artistic venues of sewing, writing and crafts. Tammbrey is a self-taught photographer and digital photo artist.

Tammbrey has lived in Southwestern Ontario most of her life, although she has lived or traveled throughout most of Ontario. She has raised her children here, and is now enjoying her grandchildren tremendously. Tammbrey has traveled through a little of the U.S. and been to the ever inspiring French Alps.

Tammbrey has always loved photography but when introduced to digital cameras, this opened a whole new creative world for her. This got her artistic juices flowing and she became photographically inventive. When she could not find the art she required for her wedding invitations, she made her own. This is also when she began to use computer programs as creative tools. Her husband and family have encouraged and supported her all the way.  

Tammbrey thanks her mother for raising her to see everything through an artist’s eye and to appreciate beauty wherever she is.
